Okikukai

The Okinawan Karate Association

Okikukai is the shortened name of the Okinawa Karate Association, an organization of Uechi-Ryu and shohei-Ryu dojos affiliated to share our understanding of karate-do. Our Western branch is OKIKUKAI WEST and though we are scattered across the West Coast of the United States, we meet at least twice a year to work out with each other and share insights.

Okikukai was formed under the supervision of Master Tomoyose Ryukyo by the seniors of the organization in order to insure the proper advancement of this amazing system.
